APPOINTMENT PREP
When preparing for your appointment (full set or a fill) please come with clean lashes: even though we do our best at making sure your lashes are clean and ready to receive a new lash, 2 washes prior to application is much better than 1.
Make sure you’re not wearing makeup and that you’re prepared to keep your newly applied lashes from getting wet for the following 24 hours.
REMINDERS
Lotions, oil, steam and high heat on your lashes are hard on your lashes. Even sticking your head in the oven can have a significant effect on the longevity of your new look.
Any rubbing, plucking or face sleeping will make your lashes prematurely fall out, and in turn cause your lashes to become sparse and unhealthy. Let those lashes fall out naturally, just like they were made to.
SCIENCE-TYPE FACTS YOU MAY OR MAY NOT CARE ABOUT (but explain a lot about lashes):
We (the humans) have a natural lash shed so when you’re loosing lash extensions it’s actually due to you loosing natural lashes. On average you will lose 3-5 lashes per eye daily and 21 +/- per week. Which makes it important to get those lashes filled regularly if you want beautiful full looking lids for longer.
On average people have 80-120 natural lashes per eye. Our goal is to fill 95%-100% of your natural, mature lashes. Generally we don’t get 100%, leaving the small ‘baby’ lashes to grow and become stronger and only apply to your healthy lashes that can fully support the extension.
FALSE ADVERTISING and general misconceptions about lash extensions:
We’ve heard many people say they’ve gotten lash extensions before and it’s just not for them cause they ruined their natural lashes. THIS SHOULD NEVER BE THE CASE!
Lash extensions should NEVER affect your natural lashes unless improperly applied or prematurely picked out because of irritation. Our practice at WINK is to properly assess the strength and health of your natural lashes. Once that has been achieved, we can then apply the appropriate weight and length to them without harming the health of your natural lash. We use a precise amount of glue and properly isolate each individual lash, making sure they don’t fuse together or to your eyelid. No one wants clumpy, sticky lashes.
Your lash health is our TOP priority and we work hard at doing the best work you so deserve.

Our Policies
CANCELLATION POLICIES
Cancellations happen to us all from time to time for different reasons, but please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, it will be considered a last minute cancellation and you will be asked to pay a 50% of the total amount of your appointment. Appointments that NO show will be charged 100% of the total cost of the appointment. We respect our clients and their time and would expect the same in return.
LATE POLICIES
Please notify us if you are running late for your appointment. If you do not do so, it may result in your service being altered to fit the remaining time available.
If you are 15 minutes+ late and we haven’t heard from you, your appointment will be treated as a NO SHOW and our cancellation fees will apply.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Due to the sensitive nature of dealing with the eye area, anyone under the age 18 must have written permission/signed waiver by a parent or legal guardian. For those parents concerned, we would be more than happy to walk them through any service in detail and explain any associated risks.

FILL BOOKINGS
Please be aware that you are responsible for the time slot that you think you will require for your lashes to be filled.*
Some clients retain lashes longer than others and will need more or less time. Booking less time may leave you without 100% coverage therefore lessening the retention for as long in the future.
Getting to know your lash retention can take some time and we’re here to help you become more knowledgeable in how to assess your own lashes.
*appointments made after 4 weeks are subject to be charged for a full set or may not have the appropriate amount of time for a complete fill.
